We are a small, NJ based "hobby kennel". Offering a limited number of pet puppies in blue eyed tri, blue merle, red merle, black tri, and red tri in toy & miniature sizes.
Located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, we are just a short drive from New York (NY), Delaware, Pennsylvania (PA) and Connecticut (CT).

We are a very small, hobby, Australian Shepherd breeder located in central New Jersey. While we love the beauty of the full size Aussie, our hearts have been stolen by the miniature and toy sized Aussie!
The miniature and toy sized Australian Shepherds are very much the same as the full sized Aussie. Intelligence, loyality and beauty in a small package.
When we were searching for our first Mini Aussie, we found that we would have to have our baby flown in, or drive to another state to pick one up. We were not able to locate a breeder here in NJ. Hence the start of Aalkira Toy and Mini Aussies.
Aalkira is our "kennel" name, not a business. Our dogs and pups are family members first and foremost.
At Aalkira Toy and Mini Aussies, a dedicated Australian Shepherd Breeder, we raise our dogs and puppies as a part of our family. Our puppies are raised underfoot, and well socialized before you take them home. All of our Aussie puppies are wormed, have been vaccinated, vet checked, and started on house manners before they reach your home. Not only do we breed, but they are our beloved pets first and foremost. We are not a large Australian Shepherd kennel, we are a small hobby breeder, our "breeders" receive the much needed love and attention that they deserve. Our Aussie dogs reside inside our home with our family.

It is our goal to match you with the right Mini Aussie puppy for your family! Each of our puppies has a personality of their own! We have chosen to utilize the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test to help us evaluate each puppy's personality.
Most people find that Toy and Miniature Aussies are so loveable, one just is not enough.
Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds have become a passionate hobby for us. We raise all of our dogs and puppies in our home. Our Aussie puppies are born in our bedroom, raised underfoot, with lots of love and socialization.
Although we prefer to place our babies locally, we are experienced in shipping within the continental United States.
